The Australian MS community shows very high engagement in professional societies and professional development groups. This is of crucial importance to ensure effective engagement with the research and clinical community, to foster opportunities for collaboration both inside and outside a researcher’s own discipline, and to reflect on progress being made in the national and international research arenas.
