2020 Supporter Survey

04 May, 2020

MS Research Australia is excited to send out our first ever supporter survey. As an important part of the MS community, we’d like to learn more about you. We’re keen to hear about your connection to MS, how you feel about the work we do, how you’d like to interact with us and if you’d like to be involved in other ways.

The survey is going out to all MS Research Australia supporters – if you’ve made a donation, fundraised, attended an event, or been involved in another way – we want to hear from you.

As this is a new activity, you may have some questions. We’ve tried to answer some below.

  1. Is this a legitimate survey?
Yes, MS Research Australia is carrying out this survey to communicate with our existing supporters.
  2. Are my answers confidential?
MS Research Australia will not provide your Personal Information to any other individuals or organisations without your prior consent except where required by law to do so or where that information is provided on a confidential basis to contractors who provide services to MS Research Australia (for example database management, printing and mailing). In these cases, we ensure that our contractors are also bound by the Australian Privacy Principles to keep your Personal Information confidential.
  3. Can I be identified?
Yes, the privacy disclosure statement indicates this as we’d like to be able to follow up with certain individuals.
  4. Are all the answers mandatory?
No – they are all optional. Some questions may be considered sensitive and if this is the case, please feel free to skip the question.
  5. When was it sent?
A small number of supporters received it on May 4th. The remainder were sent on May 6th.
  6. When do I need to respond by?
We’d appreciate all responses by May 31st.
  7. How did you get my details?
As mentioned above, the survey is going out to all supporters who have had a connection to MS Research Australia in the past who haven’t otherwise opted out of communications. Feel free to contact us directly if you’d like to find out more.
  8. I’ve responded to the survey but I want my answers removed.
Please contact us directly and we can arrange this.
  9. I don’t want to receive surveys.
Please contact us directly and we can arrange this.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey before May 31st. Your feedback will inform the way we work, helping accelerate MS research further and getting us one step closer to our goal of a future free from MS.

If you have any further questions in relation to the survey, you can contact us via email at enquiries@msra.org.au or by phone on 1300 356 467.
