$1 million raised… and counting!

Kiss Goodbye to MS is celebrating a big milestone this September. So far, in 2017, the campaign has raised over one million dollars for research into MS! This is a new record for this time of year and everyone at MS Research Australia is overwhelmed by the generosity of the community. There have been gala dinners, community dances, BBQs, sporting matches, ‘wear red days’ and so many other activities. With over 300 fundraisers already involved, the Kiss Goodbye to MS community is making a difference.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who has contributed, without your support, our fundraising tally would not be sitting at this incredible landmark so early in the year. Funds raised by Kiss Goodbye to MS contribute to the overall funding allocation of MS Research Australia each year. It might sound simple, but every dollar really does make a difference, and this total is proof of just that.

The 2017 Kiss Goodbye to MS target is $1.25 million. The campaign is on track for the biggest year yet, but the hard work is not over yet. With a quarter of the year left, it’s now more important than ever to ensure the campaign crosses the finish line above that magic number. If you want to help, there’s still time to get involved. Whether you host your own event or simply make a donation, you will be making a difference and accelerating research into better treatments, prevention and the cure for multiple sclerosis.
